Matthew is an award winning videographer, including an award for ROP Student of Excellence, Best Editing in the Heritage High School Video Showcase, and an honorable mention for his C-SPAN Student Cam documentary. He spent three years in the Video Production Club at Heritage High School. By his junior year, he became part of the club leadership as club secretary. Matthew became president of the club his senior year. During his time as president, Matthew worked closely with the Brentwood Press, Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, and Brentwood Rotary Club to produce videos and live streams. He has experience recording sports and interviews including an interview with Oakland A’s pitcher, Paul Blackburn. Matthew has a passion for all things tech. In his spare time Matthew likes to build and fix computers. Fun Fact: Matthew is a huge fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and owns almost all their albums on vinyl.
